This site has been created to showcase the full renovation of my first house as I attempt to restore it to its original beauty (with a twist of modern living). I have been performing restorative construction work part time since graduating in 2010 in both the commercial and residential space. During this time, I have edged closer to a mastery in finishing, framing, plumbing, and electrical work while becoming highly proficient in many other areas. A past in heavy equipment operation, commercial construction (including gas, sewer, electrical conduit installation, and roadwork), and picking up skills both at home and away allows me to complete most of this work on my own. Keep checking back as I will be posting progress photos and blog updates outlining this whole process!
I hold a degree in Computer Science working as an Information Security Analyst. So, I am a bit of an odd combination…a mechanically inclined nerd, or self- proclaimed polymath. This site is hosted on my own hand-designed and personally maintained hardware.
